About Adrienne White
My journey to become a celebrant began about 10 years ago when I dreamed of officiating my friend’s wedding. 8 years later I got my marriage license and earlier this year I completed training for funeral celebrancy.
I am a people person, I enjoy storytelling; not always my own, but other’s stories as well. My family are my friends and my friends are my family, and making their day, as often as I can, is one of my main life goals. I have a beautiful (although sometimes troublesome) Schnauzer, four cats and live on a property with lots of fruit trees, wild rabbits and chickens in Te Kauwhata, with my husband.
My whole life I have always questioned the norm, always thought about unique ways to go about doing things, and that’s something I want to bring to the celebrant space too. Traditional is great and there’s a reason traditions stand the test of time, however, I understand that traditional doesn’t fit everyone’s taste. And while I love working traditional ceremonies and events, I’m excited to join in with some unique and out of the box styled events too.
Life is for creating warm and happy memories, get in touch and lets work together and create something!
